Commuters to enjoy instant taxi rewards of up to $52 with Visa


Passengers hailing taxis through the DiDi app with a newly added Visa card will enjoy as much as $52 of combined saving in instant discount and rebate for their next ride*


Hong Kong’s smart travelers paying with Visa on DiDi taxi-hailing mobile application for the first time can enjoy as much as HK$52 of savings – HK$26 of instant discount and another HK$26 discount for their next ride.*

Starting from May 7 2018, first-time Visa cardholders can enjoy a HK$26* instant taxi-fare discount for their first ride booked via the DiDi app and receive one electronic coupon valued at HK$26 for their next taxi ride. The coupon will be valid until June 7, 2018.

The promotion follows the success of “Visa Preferred Free Taxi Ride Day” launched as part of the wider campaign in May, which offered savings of up to HK$200 on Free Ride Days. These initiatives are part of Visa’s wider efforts to transform transport in Hong Kong.
